Deposit Accounts

Transactions to any credit union account may be made by mail, in person, through payroll deduction, or direct deposit. Dividends are paid on all dividend-bearing accounts on a monthly basis and represent a return to our members on their savings deposited. Interest is paid on Certificates of Deposit and IRA CDs upon maturity. Dividend/Interest rates are reviewed and set by the Board of Directors, who monitors the credit union's net earnings and other competitor rates in our area.

Statements are issued quarterly (unless you have a share draft account, which generates a monthly statement). The statements itemize all activity that has occurred on each account throughout the statement period. Members are encouraged to review their statements for accuracy, notifying the credit union staff of any discrepancy discovered.

Loan Accounts

A full range of lending products are offered to our membership, including personal loans, new and used vehicle loans, recreational vehicle loans, overdraft protection, share-secured loans, and real estate loans (purchase, land, and home equity) secured by properties in North Carolina.  All information received in connection with a loan request is considered confidential and private.

Remember that when you borrow from the credit union, you are receiving the same funds that members have deposited. This money belongs to your co-workers, friends, and even your own family members. As a result, it is your responsibility to see that your loans are repaid in a timely manner for the good of your credit union. We will always be able to assist the honest and well-meaning member who just ran into some hard luck.
